From the fusion of traditional cuisine Italian and the world of design comes the project We R Food For Rigolo: four designers , all Italian, called upon to plate the restaurant chef's culinary creations, plus a set design studio for the table settings, specially selected for the occasion.
The common thread running through the whole operation is to intervene in the menu and the presentation of the dishes and the context, purely from a formal point of view: the four à la carte dishes are reinterpreted by arranging the food as a genuine project at styling. The result is to restore value to the essence of the recipes, from the perspective of design aesthetics in service of the cooking, without altering the content but working exclusively on form. An overall process that seeks the balance between decoration and the project. Vito Nesta, Martinelli Venezia, Elena Salmistraro and Zanellato Bortotto are the designers called upon to work on the menu's dishes, and Studio Milo handled the coordinated graphic concept for the table, the menu and the restaurant's shop windows.
